We exist through the stories we create, the stories we tell and the stories we believe. Unfortunately, these stories can limit us and negatively shape the way we live, treat each other, and our mother earth. Every day we have an opportunity to tell new and more powerful stories. One story I’m actively rewriting- that I am a consumer to that of a citizen and steward of the world. When you support me and my work, you support creating a sustainable future. Below are some of the causes I support.
Pachamama Alliance is a global community that offers people the chance to learn, connect, engage, travel and cherish life for the purpose of creating a sustainable future that works for all. They are dedicated to bringing about an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet.
The Nature Conservancy
The Plant a Billion Trees campaign is an unprecedented restoration initiative launched by The Nature Conservancy in 2008 to plant a billion trees by 2025. By planting trees and helping forests regrow where they have been severely degraded, we’re helping to ensure clean water, air, diverse species and full, healthy forests for future generations.
Story of Stuff
We have a problem with Stuff: we have too much of it, too much of it is toxic and we don’t share it very well. But that’s not the way things have to be. The Story of Stuff Project’s journey began with a 20-minute online movie about the way we make, use and throw away all the Stuff in our lives.
